Why I’m an infectious disease provider

“I wanted to help patients improve their quality of life by figuring out what is going on in their medical situation and finding a correct diagnosis.”

Beth Leiter’s approach to the care and management of patients centers on listening to their symptoms, as she believes they are the best indication to help figure out the correct diagnosis. She views this as a crucial part of providing quality care and enhancing the patient experience.
