Dr. Mina Said’s approach to patient care focuses on treating the patient as a whole, not just the disease, recognizing that each patient’s story and needs are unique. He emphasizes confidentiality, equality and respect while maintaining an open policy with all patients, their companions and the medical team.

Dr. Mina Said takes great pride in spending the most time possible at the patient’s bedside, making sure to communicate their needs to the medical team, following up through the end of treatment, and advocating for their needs beyond the medical aspects of care. In addition to his patient care, Dr. Said enjoys communicating with different medical teams and participating in teaching and research. In addition to his board certifications in internal medicine and infectious diseases, Dr. Said has certifications from the Collaborative Institution Training Initiative and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Said comes from a family of physicians spanning various specialties. He spent several years living in Canada, where his family currently resides. Dr. Said speaks fluid English, native Arabic, and basic French and Spanish. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, swimming, hiking and exploring new destinations.
