Dr. Ron Nahass discusses his goals for community building | ID Care | Hillsborough, NJ

ID Care founder and director of clinical research Dr. Ronald G. Nahass recently shared his vision for his upcoming term as President of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) in an interview with Infectious Disease Special Edition.

Dr. Nahass outlined his goals of improving patient care, advancing science and promoting public health, emphasizing the importance of community building and education — not only for the public but also for policymakers.

“We are clearly in unprecedented times when public health and infectious disease care are under attack,” he said. “I hope to really emphasize our plans to raise awareness to these concerns and advocate for modifications that ensure healthy communities are achieved.”

A clinical professor of medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. Nahass continues to lead as an advocate for collaboration, education and stronger support for infectious disease professionals nationwide.
