Why I’m an infectious disease provider

“I have always found the specialty of infectious disease particularly interesting. Every case is like a puzzle you have to figure out. If you do it right, the picture of the patient’s ailments comes into view and there’s a clear path to making them healthy again. Also, infectious disease goes hand-in-hand with the specialty of wound care, which I also find particularly interesting and has been my passion for many years.”

Approach to infectious disease care

Jane Afremova bases her practice on a holistic approach to care. She approaches every patient as a whole, taking into account their personal strengths, challenges and available resources. Jane believes that the most important factor in quality care and a positive patient experience is an individualized approach tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances and personal challenges.
