Dr. Anamika Patel is a board-certified infectious disease physician with expertise in HIV and joint infections. She enjoys the immediate improvements in patient health that infectious disease treatments can provide.

Dr. Patel shares her expertise by teaching residents at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton. “My work is most rewarding when my patients say, ‘You took care of my family.’ It’s about the trust they put in you,” says Dr. Patel. “And it’s fulfilling to see how you help them get better.”

Her interest in becoming a physician began in India from her desire to help people and be an example of what women can accomplish. In her spare time Dr. Patel enjoys helping her two girls in their various activities, playing with her dog and planning trips to ski and explore new locations.
