Why I’m an infectious disease provider
“My transition into infectious disease stemmed from my passion for wound care. This originated while working as a medical surgical floor staff RN specializing in patients recovering from complications in general surgery, colorectal surgery and plastic surgery with advanced wound care therapies.”

Angela Giordano brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as an infectious disease provider, with a baseline of education in nursing now as an advanced practice nurse (APN-C). While pursuing her MSN, Angela earned certification as a wound, ostomy, continence nurse (CWON). She joined ID Care in 2014.
What Angela likes most about her work is practicing her belief that a little TLC goes a long way. She understands the importance of taking that extra time with her patients and providing a comfortable environment, while enjoying getting to know her patients and building a relationship.
She says that being a very social person is one of her greatest strengths, helping her get to know her patients to give them the best care they deserve. She is proud of knowing that not all visits have to be clinical and textbook, and tries to keep her attitude light and fresh to make people more comfortable.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys traveling with family and friends and spending time at the beach.
