Why I’m an infectious disease specialist
“Working as an infectious disease specialist gives you the unique opportunity to see the patient as a whole, as most of the time patients come for help after exploring other treatment options.”
Approach to infectious disease care
Dr. Farooq believes that confidentiality and trust in their doctor encourages patients to share detailed information that is the key to making a good diagnosis and treatment plan. What he likes most about his work as an infectious disease specialist is that he sees the light at the end of the tunnel, which he shares with his patients to give them hope to live and get better. Dr. Farooq finds a true sense of satisfaction from helping his patients improve their quality of life.
