Why I’m an infectious disease provider

“I love the challenge and reward of taking care of a diverse and sometimes complex patient population with a variety of different needs.”

Approach to infectious disease care

Heather Hogh’s approach to patient care is to assess the needs of the patient prior to rendering care. In doing so she takes into consideration possible barriers such as difficulty adhering to an antibiotic regimen, cost of prescriptions, socioeconomic status, learning deficits or language challenges before prescribing.
