David J. Herman, MD, FACP

David J. Herman, MD, FACP, is currently the Hospital Epidemiologist and Physician Leader of the Hospital Antibiotic Stewardship Program at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center. Dr. Herman also serves as the Chairman of the Infection Control Committee at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital – Somerset. Dr. Herman’s areas of interest include Lyme disease and other tick-borne infections, HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis CIn addition to being named “Castle Connolly Guide to Top Doctors” in New York Metro area annually since 1999 — 29 years in a row — Dr. Herman has also been recognized as Physician Leader of the Hospital Antibiotic Stewardship Program at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center and a Hospital Epidemiologist.
