Kaitlyn Smith believes that the most important aspects of quality care and patient experience include performing a detailed history and physical, paying close attention to detail, and creating an individualized plan of care for every patient. She enjoys the need to critically think about each patient’s case.

Kaitlyn Smith began her nursing career as a staff RN on a medical oncology inpatient unit. She became a nurse practitioner to grow her medical knowledge and skill while providing care based upon her nursing foundation, later earning Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner certification. She has a certification in wound care (WCC) as well as being certified in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching football.
