“Infectious disease was the path I selected because of curability. Many patients with infectious diseases are curable. When patients are treated appropriately, the ultimate outcome is improvement in the patient’s overall health. Infectious disease is at the forefront of any global disease/pandemic, and we are ready to defend against the ongoing threats. I am intellectually driven by the subject matter and believe I am naturally warm and kind.”

Her patients value that she takes time to explain their current treatment plan, ensuring that all of their questions are answered to the best of her ability. Keila is bilingual in English and Spanish and immigrated to the United States in 2004 from Honduras. Keila’s excellent communication skills and empathetic approach set her apart, making her a valued member of the healthcare community.
