Why I’m an infectious disease provider
“I enjoy the different challenges I encounter and overcome daily from working in a dynamic subspecialty such as infectious disease care.”
Approach to infectious disease care
Neha Mistry’s approach to patient care and management is based on taking the time to listen to the patient fully and being able to educate the patient and their families on the diagnosis and treatment plan. To accomplish this, she practices closed-loop communication, which means having the patient repeat back instructions and information she gives to them. This promotes patient understanding and compliance.
