Why I’m an infectious disease specialist

“I chose infectious diseases because it’s a dynamic field that combines science, problem-solving and innovation. Each case reveals a unique story – identifying the source of the infection, determining the best treatment and improving care for the future. I’m passionate about caring for my patients while also advancing research to better fight emerging diseases, enhance treatment options and uncover new cures.”
