Cindy L. Schiller at ID Care

Cindy L. Schiller is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and dual board-certified Acute Care and Adult Nurse Practitioner. She holds wound care (WCC) and diabetic wound care (DWC) certifications through the National Alliance of Wound Care as well as hyperbaric oxygen therapy certification. In addition, she earned a CIC infection control certification through the Association of Professionals in Infection Control & Epidemiology (APIC) and guides healthcare facilities in their infection control efforts. She joined ID Care in 2008, was the practice’s first Advanced Practice Nurse, and has helped the practice grow to over 20 advanced practice providers to date.

She enjoys the daily challenges that she encounters in her role and crafting a plan that takes into account each individual’s unique needs to improve their health. She is proud to work among a healthcare team that is committed to providing patient-centered, evidence-based, compassionate care to its patients. She is also heavily involved in mentoring the practice’s new advanced practice nurses and educating nurses and patients alike. Prior to joining ID Care, Ms. Schiller worked as a critical care nurse for several years. Her personal interests include traveling, crafting, theatre, and spending time with family and friends.
