Why I’m an infectious disease specialist

“Primarily, my interest in infectious diseases. The task of the infectious disease physician is the early recognition of infection and prompt institution of effective and safe antimicrobial therapy when required. What I like most about what I do is the ability to restore health to the ill.”

Approach to infectious disease care

Dr. Richard Snepar carefully evaluates the problems at hand and works to find effective solutions. He communicates the approach to be taken, along with the reasons behind it and the expected outcomes. He believes that quality care necessitates both time and thorough evaluation. Additionally, quality care requires a physician who is not only interested in, but also familiar with and comfortable diagnosing and treating, the patient’s specific issues.
