ID Care’s Hillsborough medical office team organized a “Gratitude Night” program, creating “gratitude bags” and “gratitude journals” to benefit teens at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital in New Brunswick. The program, initiated in honor of Martin Luther King Day and supported by the leadership, aimed to bring positivity and support to hospitalized children, providing them with uplifting journals for a technology break during their hospital stay.
“I created the ‘gratitude journals’ for the teens with the hopes of giving them a technology break in a way that is inspirational and uplifting. The goal was to offer them self-esteem boosting booklets that they can enjoy during their hospital stay.” – Rajeeyah Madinah, program creator
