ID Care, a leading provider of infectious disease care in the region, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Segal, MD, as its new President.

Dr. Robert Segal brings more than 25 years of clinical and leadership experience to this role and has been a cornerstone of ID Care’s growth and success. He has served on the organization’s Board of Directors for more than a decade and has also held the role of Regional Vice President for the South region for over ten years. His longstanding commitment to excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care has made a lasting impact across the organization.
In addition to his leadership at ID Care, Dr. Segal has held several prominent roles within the broader healthcare community. He served as President of the Medical Staff at Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health (RWJBH) Somerset from 2021 to 2022. He currently serves as Chairman of Medicine at RWJBH/Somerset and as Medical Director of the Wound Care Center at RWJBH/Somerset.
