On World Hepatitis Day ID Care brought awareness home in powerful ways. Partnering with RWJ University Hospital Somerset’s Community Health team, practitioners across multiple locations — from Dr. Bhalla in Princeton and Somerset to Dr. Nahass and Kathleen Seneca in Hillsborough — engaged with local communities to inform and empower. Their outreach helped shine a light on the global issue with information on prevention, testing and breaking down stigma. In uniting for health, ID Care reinforced its commitment to ensuring hepatitis care is accessible to all. World Hepatitis Day, held annually on July 28, raises awareness of viral hepatitis and encourages expanded access to testing and care — key steps toward eliminating it as a public health threat by 2030, according to WHO initiatives.
