Kaitlyn Smith, RN, MSN, APN-C, NP-C
Kaitlyn Smith, RN, MSN, APN-C, is wound care certified (WCC) through the National Alliance of Wound Care and has been with ID Care since 2014. In addition, she has obtained a Hyperbaric Medicine Certificate allowing her to supervise patients undergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy, caring for the practice’s inpatients, as well as IV infusion outpatients. Kaitlyn takes pride in collaborating with other members of the healthcare team in order to provide the best care to her patients.
Kaitlyn began her nursing career as a staff RN on a medical oncology inpatient unit prior to obtaining her master’s degree and Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner License. During this time, Kaitlyn was awarded the Jane Benjamin Scholarship Award for her excellent care, particularly in oncology and hospice patients. She made the decision to become a Nurse Practitioner to grow her medical knowledge and skill while providing care based upon her nursing foundation. Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching football in her free time.
