She notes that infection is often a main cause of stay in a patient’s hospitalization, and she enjoys being able to guide them through it and help them get well.

Elizabeth Cirlincione is a board-certified advanced practice nurse with specialized expertise in the treatment of infectious diseases. Elizabeth is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with infectious diseases, including her areas of special interest like C. diff (clostridioides difficile), which is a bacterial infection of the intestinal tract. Elizabeth was drawn to the field of infectious disease because of its dynamic and challenging nature. She’s been at ID Care since 2016, working previously on the medical/surgical orthopedic floor and in the operating room. She also earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Monmouth University. Outside of work Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking and traveling.
